Boy we got a lot of kids in the line up, but it isn't all on them at all. When JC comes back I wouldn't mind having AKempe centering a 3rd line with Lewis and Toffoli, or maybe put Gabo down there... Other goalies are making some great saves on our shooters right now and everyone is making too many suspect plays in our own zone with the puck. GET IT THE (frank) OUT!!

The jets are going to destroy us , so be ready for that.

Forbort can't seem to make a decent play to get the puck out of the zone in those tight board battles that are 15 feet away from the blue line

I wish Brown would do more than stare at the puck when Kopitar is trying to get out of the corner in the d zone with pressure, he just drifts backwards as if the puck is going jump over to him and that never seems to happen.

I would like to see Muzzin get benched, aside from all the things you can point at to justify keeping him in the line up, he has been terrible.

I would not object to the following arrangement since Stevens is not shying away from the line juggling that we are accustomed to:

Iafallo Kopi Brown
Pearson Dowd, Toffoli
Jokinen Kempe Brodz (or Gabo)
Lewis Laich Imama-(call up)

DD _ MacD
Martinez - Folin
Fantenberg - Forbort

Muzz and Amart are absolute garbage. They should both be traded to the highest bidder. Weak and soft defensively. Can't pass, can't srick-handle, shots are easily stoppible. There is no way LaDue and Gravel can possibly be any worse than those two. Blake should be looking for what's out there.

Oh...and Brownie...you might want to reconsider always playing hot-potato with the puck in the neutral zone. It's not going too well for you.

Looking at the stats:

The Kings are 20th in the league in shots allowed per game at 32.6. We are giving up plenty of scoring chances as well. Our #1 PK at 90.1% is a mirage. I haven't seen much in the way of good PK by the players. Quick and Kuemper have been holding in down. That is why we have the appearance of good defense, not to mention the good play of the DD/DF pairing which is the only one I trust. Whatever was wrong with JQ yesterday, I do not know; but he has been excellent this year overall. The forwards have done a pretty good job of back-checking and not missing assignments. The D after DD and DF has been mediocre to atrocious. Well...mostly...you know who.

You are not wrong about Martinez, I thought he was a special brand of hot garbage in that Vegas game.

I am really unhappy with our 2nd pairing. I think Stevens is too with the way he has shifted Muzz and Amart around. MacD and Folin had their minutes increased drastically. Muzz only played like 17. They have been terrible on both sides of the ice recently. Muzzin's hot start has gone to poop. Amart has 4 points in 22 games. I just don't know with those two.

I don't get why people poop on MacD so much. He is not there to take over a game or make acrobatic stops. but his shot gets past the shin guards of the other team and more often then not he breaks the for check in our zone, and honestly that's what we need the most of right now

I think MacD had played well the last few games. Except for nearly turning the puck over right in front on the net in Vegas, the dude had made very few errors. He has closed the gaps on his opponents well, so he had essentially taken their speed advantage away from them. He just has to keep doing that and he will be successful. I saw him on the PP. Looks like he is getting pucks on net. Haven't seen his snapshot yet but I've been happy with his play in the last little while.
